Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design develop and implement new production processes equipment and tooling.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing plans and processes.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Collaborate with R&D and Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance productivity and safety.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement.
Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for fixture tooling and layout design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment automation and production line balancing.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Proficiency in robotics programming or industrial automation systems (e.g. PLCs)
Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Python R Minitab) for process optimization
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
