The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and manage the maintenance team including scheduling training and performance.
Develop implement and oversee comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Ensure timely and effective repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize uptime.
Manage the maintenance budget control spare parts inventory and oversee procurement processes.
Establish and enforce safety protocols and compliance for all maintenance activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate maintenance records equipment history and standard operating procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical proficiency in mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems including PLCs.
Proven ability to develop implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and reporting.
Demonstrated understanding of industrial safety regulations and best practices (e.g. OSHA LOTO).
Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Proven experience leading capital improvement projects.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and IIoT technologies.
