Key Responsibilities

Oversee the reliability and performance of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems critical for continuous production.
Manage and maintain the network infrastructure servers and end-user devices across manufacturing facilities.
Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to protect manufacturing data intellectual property and OT environments.
Provide prompt technical support and incident resolution for production-impacting IT issues.
Lead the planning implementation and integration of new manufacturing-specific software (e.g. MES ERP modules) and hardware.
Ensure IT systems comply with industry regulations quality standards and data integrity requirements for manufacturing.
Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts for manufacturing-specific solutions and services.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience managing IT infrastructure networks and cybersecurity within a manufacturing environment.
Expertise in manufacturing execution systems (MES) ERP integration and operational technology (OT) such as SCADA/PLCs.
Strong project management skills including budgeting vendor management and IT strategy development.
Demonstrated ability to align IT initiatives with manufacturing business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
Experience with IT/OT cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance relevant to industrial settings.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with operational technology (OT) systems (e.g. SCADA MES PLCs) and IT/OT convergence initiatives
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts Industrial IoT (IIoT) or smart factory initiatives
Familiarity with manufacturing-specific cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. ISA/IEC 62443)
