The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial electrical systems machinery and controls.
Install inspect and test new electrical equipment wiring and components.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
Diagnose electrical malfunctions using blueprints schematics and testing devices.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations NEC and company standards.
Calibrate and adjust electrical instruments and control devices.
Maintain detailed records of repairs maintenance and installations.

Recommended Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state/provincial certification.
3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting repairing and installing industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Strong understanding of PLCs VFDs and industrial control systems.
Thorough knowledge of electrical codes (e.g. NEC/CEC) and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA/CSA).

Bonus Qualifications

Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB).
Experience with vision systems HMIs or SCADA systems.
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
