The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot repair and maintain industrial electrical systems machinery and equipment.
Install commission and modify new electrical equipment wiring and control systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime.
Diagnose electrical malfunctions using multimeters circuit tracers and other testing devices.
Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Adhere strictly to electrical codes safety regulations (e.g. NFPA 70E) and company policies.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and HMI systems.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in troubleshooting repairing and installing industrial control systems PLCs VFDs and motor controls.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
Experience with power distribution systems three-phase motors and preventive maintenance programs.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial automation and robotics systems.
Advanced troubleshooting or programming proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from various manufacturers.
Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profibus Modbus TCP).
Experience with instrumentation calibration and process control systems.
Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with minor fabrication for electrical installations.
