The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
• Oversee employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures across multiple shifts.
• Administer compensation benefits and payroll including shift differentials and overtime calculations.
• Identify and coordinate training and development programs focusing on safety skills enhancement and leadership development.
• Drive performance management processes including goal setting appraisals and performance improvement plans for manufacturing staff.
• Collaborate with EHS to foster a strong safety culture and manage workplace injury reporting and return-to-work programs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (5 years) in HR management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal state and local employment laws including OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
• Experience with recruitment onboarding and retention strategies for a production workforce.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma awareness.
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish).
• Experience with HRIS/ERP systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors Workday).
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
