The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production engineering and maintenance roles.
• Oversee employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all labor laws company policies and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) within the manufacturing facility.
• Develop and implement performance management systems tailored to manufacturing productivity and quality standards.
• Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs including shift differentials and incentive plans.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance skills and safety for manufacturing employees.
• Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with operational goals and production targets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing all HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws compliance and HR best practices relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated ability in employee relations conflict resolution and fostering a positive plant culture.
• Experience with talent acquisition workforce planning and retention strategies for skilled trades and production roles.
• Ability to partner with leadership to drive HR initiatives that support operational goals and productivity.

Bonus Qualifications

• Multilingual proficiency to support a diverse workforce (e.g. Spanish Vietnamese).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing apprenticeship or skilled trades training programs.
• Certification in change management or project management.
