The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Spring Lake seeking HR Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
  • Manage employee relations including grievance resolution disciplinary actions and union negotiations (if applicable).
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and plant safety regulations.
  • Lead workforce planning and talent development initiatives to support operational needs and skill advancement.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring market competitiveness for manufacturing positions.
  • Drive initiatives for a safe and healthy work environment collaborating with EHS teams.
  • Facilitate performance management processes including goal setting and performance reviews for all plant personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law safety regulations (OSHA) and HR best practices relevant to manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management for a diverse workforce.
  • Proficiency in talent acquisition onboarding and retention strategies for production and skilled trades roles.
  • Experience with HRIS and using HR data analytics to inform decision-making.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Multilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse manufacturing workforce
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Certification or significant experience in OSHA compliance and workplace safety programs
  • Proven track record in union avoidance strategies or collective bargaining
