The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for production technical and administrative roles within the manufacturing facility.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
  • Administer HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with federal state and local labor laws including OSHA regulations.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and conduct various HR-related training programs such as safety compliance and skills development.
  • Support performance management processes including annual reviews goal setting and performance improvement plans.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data generating reports for workforce analysis and compliance.
  • Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs addressing employee inquiries and enrollment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices including OSHA compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Proficiency in full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce including hourly production and skilled trade roles.
  • Experience with HRIS systems payroll processes and benefits administration.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures relevant to a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
  • Familiarity with HRIS/timekeeping systems common in manufacturing (e.g. Kronos)
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices
