Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for production skilled trades and administrative roles within the plant.
Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws particularly regarding manufacturing safety regulations.
Administer HR programs such as onboarding performance management and benefits for manufacturing employees.
Support the development and delivery of training initiatives including safety compliance and skills development.
Process payroll and manage timekeeping systems for hourly and salaried plant staff.
Handle workers' compensation claims and promote a safe healthy working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

Experience supporting HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws including OSHA compliance.
Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment for production skilled trades and technical roles.
Strong background in employee relations conflict resolution and conducting workplace investigations.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and leveraging data for HR reporting and decision-making.

Bonus Qualifications

Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish/English)
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
Experience with OSHA compliance and workplace safety programs
Exposure to labor relations or unionized environments
