Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing technical and administrative positions.
- Administer HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws company regulations and safety standards.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
- Oversee new hire onboarding emphasizing safety protocols plant operations and company culture.
- Support performance management processes including annual reviews and development plans for production staff.
- Coordinate and deliver HR-related training programs such as safety compliance and leadership development.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate reports for all plant employees.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations and compliance in a production setting.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations conflict resolution and performance management processes for a diverse workforce.
- Experience recruiting for production skilled trades and operational roles common in manufacturing.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR data analysis to support operational decision-making.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification or demonstrated experience in workplace safety initiatives.
- Experience with timekeeping systems and payroll processes specific to shift-based manufacturing environments.
