Salary Range: $59000 - $86000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Walker seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production and operational roles.
Provide guidance on employee relations resolve grievances and conduct investigations for plant employees.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws including OSHA regulations.
Administer workers' compensation claims and actively support plant safety initiatives.
Support performance management processes including disciplinary actions and performance reviews for manufacturing staff.
Coordinate and deliver training programs including safety compliance and skill development for hourly personnel.
Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data for the manufacturing site.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations.
Proven ability in full-cycle recruitment for production skilled trades and administrative roles.
Strong capabilities in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and experience with benefits administration and payroll processes.

Bonus Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish strongly preferred)
Experience supporting a unionized workforce
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of OSHA regulations as they pertain to HR responsibilities
