The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for production technical and administrative roles including sourcing interviewing and onboarding.
Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws as well as company policies particularly those related to safety and manufacturing operations.
Administer HR programs such as performance management compensation benefits and leave management (e.g. FMLA workers' compensation).
Coordinate and facilitate essential training programs including safety compliance and skills development for manufacturing personnel.
Support a safe working environment by collaborating with EHS and managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HRIS for data management reporting and analytics.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience as an HR Generalist within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
Demonstrated expertise in employee relations performance management and high-volume recruitment.
Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with all levels of employees from plant floor to leadership.
Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing in a multi-shift environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with common manufacturing HRIS and timekeeping systems (e.g. Kronos SAP SuccessFactors).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Understanding of OSHA regulations and experience supporting safety initiatives.
Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
