Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning execution and completion of engineering projects ensuring adherence to scope budget and schedule.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes reduce costs and enhance product quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Production Quality R&D) to resolve technical challenges and support new product introduction.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall business objectives and production demands.
Manage departmental budget resources and equipment to meet operational goals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and quality management systems within all engineering activities.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes automation and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Strong project management skills for engineering initiatives including scope budget and timeline management.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial) or a related technical field.
Ability to drive technical problem-solving and implement innovative solutions to optimize production.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
PMP or other recognized project management certification
Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. industrial automation additive manufacturing AI/IoT applications)
Advanced degree (e.g. MBA Master's in a relevant engineering discipline)
