Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
Oversee the planning execution and completion of engineering projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes equipment and product quality.
Collaborate with production quality and R&D departments to optimize operational efficiency and resolve technical challenges.
Ensure the technical integrity reliability and manufacturability of products and processes.
Manage the engineering department's budget resources and technology roadmap.
Establish and enforce engineering best practices standards and safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical industrial) applied to manufacturing.
Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes lean methodologies and continuous improvement.
Experience managing complex engineering projects from concept to production.
Ability to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and process optimization initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies or advanced automation solutions
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
MBA or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
