Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects within manufacturing operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes enhance product quality and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production Quality R&D) to resolve technical challenges and support new product introduction.
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with overall business objectives and manufacturing capabilities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations quality standards and environmental policies in all engineering activities.
Manage the departmental budget allocate resources effectively and oversee capital expenditure for manufacturing technology.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial) with 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects.
Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes automation and industrial equipment.
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) to drive operational excellence.
Strong project management skills including planning execution and resource allocation for complex engineering initiatives.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities to address technical and production challenges effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT AI/ML in manufacturing).
Advanced proficiency with PLM/ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Siemens Teamcenter).
