Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects for process improvement automation and new product introduction.
Ensure the development and implementation of robust manufacturing processes tooling and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production Quality R&D) to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing operations.
Manage department budget resources and project timelines to meet strategic objectives.
Establish and maintain engineering standards best practices and documentation for manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong technical background in relevant manufacturing engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical industrial process).
Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering teams in a production environment.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes lean methodologies and quality systems (e.g. ISO Six Sigma).
Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving complex technical challenges in manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
PMP or other relevant project management certification
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT AI advanced robotics)
