Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).
• Conduct EHS risk assessments inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Manage hazardous waste chemical safety and environmental permitting processes.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics prepare reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety Engineering or a related scientific field.
• 7 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 3 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other federal state and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience developing implementing and managing comprehensive EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Professional EHS certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with multi-site EHS management.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) designation.
• Demonstrated experience leading sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting.
