Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations for accidents near misses and occupational illnesses implementing corrective actions.
• Design and deliver effective EHS training programs for all employees.
• Manage all EHS record-keeping reporting and permit applications.
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering or a related scientific/technical field.
• 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other federal/state EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Professional EHS certification (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM) preferred.
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to influence EHS culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience managing EHS across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Proficiency with advanced EHS software platforms for data analytics and reporting.
