Salary Range: $79000 - $124000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations.
• Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs.
• Identify assess and mitigate EHS risks and hazards across the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct and coordinate EHS training for all employees.
• Investigate EHS incidents accidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety Engineering Chemistry or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other applicable federal state and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated experience in developing implementing and managing EHS programs policies and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments incident investigations root cause analyses and implement effective corrective actions.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) are highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies to EHS processes.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms and data analytics for trend identification.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Workers' Compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
