Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mechanical designs for manufacturing processes using CAD software.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize product designs.

- Conduct feasibility studies stress analyses and simulations to validate design concepts.

- Manage design changes and product lifecycle documentation throughout the development process.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA Creo) for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g. machining injection molding sheet metal fabrication) and material science.
- Experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations tolerance analysis and design validation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with advanced simulation software (FEA CFD).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping testing and validation of designs.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
