Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs including direct materials labor and overhead.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for all manufactured products.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from standards.
• Manage inventory valuation and reconciliation for raw materials WIP and finished goods.
• Prepare comprehensive cost reports and profitability analysis for management.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process focusing on cost-of-goods-sold and overhead.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced ERP/MRP functionalities (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) or advanced Excel modeling (e.g. Power Query VBA).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Understanding of supply chain costing and inventory optimization strategies.
