Key Responsibilities

• Design program and implement PLC HMI and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation electrical and control system failures to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics control system documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify develop and implement process improvements and optimization projects.
• Select specify and procure control components sensors and instrumentation.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators on automation equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems including motor control drives and safety circuits.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet) and network configuration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex automation and electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics P&IDs and instrumentation diagrams.
• Experience with robotic programming integration or machine vision systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Proficiency in vision systems setup and deployment (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Familiarity with industrial data historians (e.g. OSI PI FactoryTalk Historian) and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of industrial network design and cybersecurity best practices for OT environments.
