Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement industrial control systems including PLCs HMIs and SCADA.
• Program troubleshoot and optimize automated machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support for production operations to resolve automation-related issues and minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics control documentation and software backups.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on automation efficiency and reliability enhancements.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards industry regulations and company policies.
• Integrate new equipment and technologies into existing production lines and control architectures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PLC programming development and troubleshooting (e.g. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Siemens).
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design configuration and deployment (e.g. FactoryTalk View Wonderware Ignition).
• Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP PROFINET Modbus TCP/IP).
• Demonstrated ability to commission test and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Experience with industrial robotics servo motion control or machine vision systems.
• Ability to read interpret and develop electrical schematics and control panel layouts.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Proficiency in SCADA system development and database integration (e.g. SQL).
• Familiarity with industrial vision inspection systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity principles and best practices.
