Key Responsibilities

• Design program and implement PLC and HMI applications for automated manufacturing systems.
• Perform troubleshooting diagnosis and resolution of complex control system issues.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics control panel designs and system documentation.
• Execute commissioning testing and startup of new equipment and control system upgrades.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for existing control systems to enhance performance and reliability.
• Ensure all control system designs and modifications comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Integrate various control components sensors and robotics into cohesive manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Ability to design implement and troubleshoot electrical control systems and instrumentation.
• Solid grasp of control theory PID tuning and process optimization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
• Proficiency in vision system setup and programming (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Knowledge of industrial data historization and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration.
• Familiarity with industrial network design security and troubleshooting.
