Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement industrial control systems (PLC HMI SCADA).
• Program PLCs HMIs and other automation devices for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical control system and automation issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed control system documentation including schematics and logic.
• Support the commissioning of new equipment and the upgrade of existing machinery.
• Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience programming and troubleshooting Rockwell Automation PLCs (ControlLogix CompactLogix) and associated software (Studio 5000 Logix Designer).
• Proficiency in designing developing and deploying HMI/SCADA applications (e.g. FactoryTalk View SE/ME Ignition).
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet) and control system architecture.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) servo systems and motor control applications.
• Ability to read interpret and create electrical schematics P&IDs and control system documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting industrial vision systems.
• Familiarity with MES/SCADA integration and database systems (e.g. SQL).
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices.
