Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Kaizen) across manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and analyze process inefficiencies waste and bottlenecks to develop actionable improvement plans.
  • Train mentor and coach employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Develop implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness and sustainability of improvement projects.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams and workshops to solve complex operational problems and drive root cause analysis.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement problem-solving and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Standardize best practices and ensure their consistent application across different manufacturing lines or sites.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or Master Black Belt (CSSMBB).
  • Proven expertise in Lean methodologies (e.g. Value Stream Mapping 5S Kaizen) and their practical application.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading and implementing CI initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities including proficiency in statistical analysis tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for advanced data visualization and dashboarding.
  • Experience applying Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT AI automation) to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Certification or significant experience with Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodology.
  • Experience utilizing process simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim) for optimization modeling.
