Salary Range: $48000 - $79000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills lathes grinders) according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and work orders to determine setup procedures.
Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges).
Load and unload materials and parts ensuring proper workholding and tooling selection.
Monitor machine operations detecting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting controls.
Make minor program adjustments (offsets tool changes) to optimize machining processes.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment including cleaning and lubrication.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and G-code/M-code.
Demonstrated experience using precision measuring tools (calipers micrometers gauges).
Strong understanding of machining processes tooling and various materials.
Commitment to quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for programming and design.
Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMM operation).
Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
