Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines.
Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and G-code.
Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain part quality.
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms or production issues.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience (3-5 years) operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and GD&T.
Strong understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting.
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers bore gauges).
Ability to perform tool offsets change inserts and troubleshoot common machining issues.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software for program modification or generation.
Proficiency in operating CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
