Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Set up machines including loading tools fixtures and raw materials.
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and G-code programs.
Perform quality control checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
Adjust machine offsets speeds and feeds to optimize production and maintain quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation tooling or part quality.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and G-code/M-code.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers bore gauges) for quality control.
Ability to perform tool changes offsets and basic machine maintenance.
Strong understanding of various materials and their machining properties.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam SolidWorks).
Experience machining advanced materials (e.g. titanium Inconel composites).
Ability to perform minor machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
CMM operation or advanced metrology experience.
