Key Responsibilities

Set up operate and maintain CNC machinery (mills lathes grinders).
Read and interpret blueprints G-code and engineering specifications.
Perform quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
Load and unload raw materials and tooling into machines.
Monitor machine operations detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to ensure production efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC mills and lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges).
Solid understanding of G-code and M-code for program editing and troubleshooting.
Ability to perform tool changes offsets and basic machine maintenance.
Knowledge of different materials and their machining characteristics.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with advanced CAM software (e.g. Mastercam Fusion 360)
Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis 5-axis)
Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
