Key Responsibilities

Set up operate and maintain multi-axis CNC machines (mills lathes grinders).
Interpret engineering blueprints technical drawings and G-code programs.
Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts ensuring proper fixturing.
Adjust machine offsets tool wear compensations and program parameters to maintain part quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine alarms minor malfunctions and tooling issues.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

2-5 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints engineering drawings and GD&T.
Ability to interpret and edit G-code and M-code for machine programming and adjustments.
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and bore gauges.
Strong understanding of various cutting tools materials and machining processes.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CAD/CAM software for program generation and optimization.
Proficiency in advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMM optical comparator).
Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis machining.
