Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processing invoices for raw materials supplies and operational expenses.
• Process accounts receivable ensuring timely collection of payments for manufactured goods.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and promptly.
• Process and manage payroll for all manufacturing and administrative staff.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in tracking inventory movements and related costs (raw materials WIP finished goods).
• Prepare monthly financial statements including profit & loss and balance sheets.
• Manage fixed asset depreciation schedules for manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience as a Bookkeeper preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. ERP systems QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles inventory management and GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite)
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g. COGS inventory valuation methods)
• Familiarity with fixed asset tracking and depreciation in a production environment
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
