Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement industrial automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program and configure PLCs HMIs SCADA systems and industrial robotics.
Perform commissioning testing and validation of new automation equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation system failures and performance issues.
Optimize existing automation processes for efficiency reliability and throughput improvements.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all automation systems.
Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams to integrate automation solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
Experience with industrial robotics motion control systems and vision systems.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP PROFINET) and data acquisition.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems and implement robust solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial data analytics platforms (e.g. MES historians OEE systems).
Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP PROFINET) and OT cybersecurity best practices.
Proficiency with machine vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for quality inspection and guidance.
Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated application of continuous improvement methodologies.
