Dispatch Operative
Pickering
From 13 per hour DOE
Temp to Perm
We are supporting a long-established manufacturer in Pickering who produce high quality doors windows and stairs. They are growing the team and looking for a Dispatch Operative to join them on a temp to perm basis.
This role is split between delivery work and despatch duties offering good variety and a steady day shift pattern.
The role includes:
- Around 30 percent delivery work within a 100 mile radius using a flatbed or truck-style van
- Operating the FLT to move products
- Palletising organising and preparing products for loading
- Loading vans safely and accurately
- Carrying out basic QA checks before dispatch
What we are looking for:
- Valid FLT licence
- Full driving licence
- Comfortable with a mix of delivery and yard work
- Good awareness of safe loading and dispatch processes
- Reliable practical and confident working in a manufacturing environment
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 - 16:30
- Friday: 7:30 - 14:00
