PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Are you a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a flexible career opportunity Millennium Home Care a leading provider of in-home healthcare services is looking for dedicated PRN SLPs to join our team. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing abilities to identify strengths weaknesses and treatment needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient goals including speech sound production language development fluency voice disorders and swallowing difficulties.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide direct therapy services such as articulation therapy language therapy fluency therapy voice therapy and swallowing therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills swallowing safety and overall quality of life.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians occupational therapists and physical therapists to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations treatment plans progress notes and discharge summaries.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital rehab or skilled nursing facility is required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Professionalism: Strong work ethic reliability and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
