As Hardware Engineer for Optics related to HVDC MACH you will be part of the team for design and maintenance of optical and electronic components and fiber systems. You may also be part of supporting failure investigations.

How youll make an impact
- In this role you will handle product requirements
- Participate in fault investigations and in development and maintenance projects
- Improve working processes
- Product lab testing for both qualifications and failure investigations of optical components and solutions
Your background
- You have a degree in the field of electronics electrical engineering and optics
- Strong technical interest and a will to work with mixed tasks both practical and theoretical
- At least 5 years experience working in a fiber optics optical lab and/or production environment
- Experience with design of experiment and test implementation for fiber optic component and system testing
- Experience with optical and electrical test equipment
- Experience generating engineering documents such as test plans and test reports
- Experience with test automation including coding for lab equipment is highly preferred
- You are structured and have a great eye to details
- Fluency in English is required good knowledge in Swedish is advantageous.
