Job Summary

Do you have experience in welding fabrication machining mechanical repairs or general site maintenance Were looking for a hands-on safety-focused Maintenance Leading Hand to support our diverse operations across farming production fruit packing de-husking retail and tourism.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety problem solving and working across a truly unique workplace. Youll help keep our equipment and infrastructure in top condition support project and seasonal works and contribute to an inclusive team environment.

The Role

The Summerland Farm Maintenance Leading Hand is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of equipment assets infrastructure and minor building projects that support the farms diverse operations including farming production retail events and tourism. The role involves tasks such as welding fabrication repairs and general maintenance to maintain safe efficient and reliable operations. By applying technical expertise and fostering a collaborative team environment this position helps deliver high-quality outcomes while supporting meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

What You Need to Be Successful....

  • Trade qualification relevant to maintenance (e.g. Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Mechanical Fitting Welding or related field).
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment machinery and infrastructure maintenance across agricultural manufacturing tourism or commercial settings.
  • Experience working safely with tools machinery and plant systems.
  • Experience in a multi-business environment with competing operational priorities.
