Pharmacy Support Delivery Assistant
Prarie Parkway Retail Pharmacy
Shift: Part-Time; 16 Hours per Week; 7:30a-6p Mon-Fri; 10a-6p Sat Sun; rotating shifts
The retail pharmacy support person is responsible for nontechnical duties assigned by a supervising pharmacist including but not limited to delivery of medications/goods performing routine errands within the building(s) clerical duties processing wholesale drug orders receiving requests by phone or in person performing drug inventory duties assisting in the cleaning of the work area and restocking and ordering of supplies.
Foremost among the responsibilities is the delivering of parcels and goods to patients through accurate and efficient shipment transport receipt and distribution.

Responsibilities
- Transports incoming and outgoing parcels mail supplies medications and goods to locations inside and outside of UnityPoint Health.
- Ensures items transported are properly labeled and packaged prior to transport to ensure safety of driver and goods.
- Assists pharmacy team as needed. This can include stocking supplies in inventory or customer areas assisting at the drive-up window and other support person duties.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be registered as a support person with the Board of Pharmacy prior to the first day of work.
- Proven history of identifying issues and conflicts and working proactively toward resolution.
- Valid Iowa drivers license for at least three years with an acceptable or clear rating according to the Motor Vehicle Record chart. (see below)
- Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with no record of DUI DWI or similar alcohol or drug related offenses over the past 5 years.
- In addition there will be no record of reckless driving careless driving speeding over 15 miles above the speed limit fleeing or eluding a police officer chemical test refusal leaving the scene of an accident driving after revocation or suspension or passing a stopped school bus in the last 5 years.
- Able to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of supply chain practices medical supplies storage and supply distribution.
