Project Manager Site-Based BESS Project Delivery

Leap29 are working with a client who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on customer site-based BESS projects guiding them from initiation to execution.

Your responsibilities:

Lead the full project lifecycle from planning to on-site execution to delivery ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

Spot risks early solve problems proactively and keep projects running smoothly

Coordinate internal teams and external partners

Build and maintain strong customer relationships managing expectations with clarity and confidence

Align delivery conditions set up construction sites and carry out final acceptance of installed BESS systems

Track schedules budgets and quality benchmarks to ensure excellence

Run regular status meetings and share clear concise updates with all stakeholders

Uphold strict health and safety standards across all project activities

Maintain accurate documentation reports and budget records throughout each project

Your profile:

Degree in engineering energy technology or a related discipline

Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools

Proven experience delivering installation/engineering projects ideally BESS on construction sites

A structured solution-driven mindset with a practical hands-on approach

Strong communication skills and a genuine customer-first attitude

Leadership experience in multicultural project environments

Ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative fast-paced setting

Proficiency in MS Office and project management software

Fluent German and English (written and spoken)

Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time both throughout Europe and to international destinations such as the USA and other continents
