Job Skills / Requirements
Guardteck Security is looking for Security Officers for University in Downtown Toronto Ontario!
This is a great opportunity to work with one of the best-managed security companies in Western Canada and gain valuable experience in a professional and dynamic environment.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Basic Security License
- Valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate
- Minimum 1 year of CCTV monitoring experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Security Guard
- Must be familiar with handling vagrants and intoxicated persons
- Police Foundations is an asset
- Confident in verbal conflict de-escalation
- Proficient in English (verbal & written)
- Able to complete detailed high-quality reports
- Strong customer service skills; previous experience considered a strong asset
- Professional disciplined and ethical approach to duties
- Able to patrol and stand for long periods
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a diverse team
- Able to follow established procedures and routines effectively
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Flexible availability
- Must be ready to meet new people and bring a positive attitude to work
Shift Details:
- Monday- Friday
0700-1445 hours
1445-2230 hours
Location:
- Downtown Toronto Ontario
Wage Range:
- $19.00 per hour
