About the Role
Overseeing day-to-day site operations security and maintenance
Leading a small team of caretakers cleaners or premises assistants
Conducting repairs minor works and preventative maintenance
Managing contractors projects and refurbishment works
Ensuring full compliance with health & safety safeguarding and SEND-specific site requirements
Maintaining specialist facilities such as sensory rooms and therapy spaces
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safe access across the site
Responding quickly to emergencies and site-related issues
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness security and presentation
This role requires exceptional organisational ability awareness of SEN-specific safety considerations and a calm professional approach.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in site or facilities management (SEN setting desirable)
Strong understanding of H&S compliance risk management and safeguarding
Practical maintenance and repair skills
Strong leadership communication and time management
Willingness to undertake additional training relevant to the SEN environment
Salary
Support staff leadership scale based on experience.
