Job Summary

As Lead Segment Management you will provide strategic direction and drive the execution of segment & proposition strategies within Private Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM). Your primary focus will be on digital innovation data-driven decision-making and sales management as well as pricing excellence and proposition development. You will directly manage four leads (Quality & Risk Marketing Pricing & Propositions and Data & Reporting) and serve as a member of the national PBWM Management Team working closely with the Global Private Banking strategy.

In this capacity you act as a strategic facilitator of commercial success responsible for shaping value propositions advancing pricing initiatives enabling sales and sales management and enhancing the client experience through data insights and digital solutions. You play a pivotal role in mobilizing commercial capabilities to achieve growth ambitions deliver the full suite of Private Banking services and continuously improve offerings based on data-driven insights and client feedback. You will lead strategic initiatives that foster digital innovation and commercial excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement segment strategies aligned with client needs and strategic objectives ensuring the delivery of the full suite of Private Banking products & services.
  • Financial Accountability: Accountable for total Earnings Asset Base of Private Banking & Wealth Management revenues and oversight of operating expenses and net profit.
  • Client Focus: Enhance the client experience through data insights and digital solutions and continuously improve offerings based on data-driven insights and client feedback.
  • Commercial Excellence: Drive commercial success through innovative propositions pricing strategies and strategic collaboration across business units.
  • Performance Management: Ensure the achievement of annual goals and overall KPIs set and monitor performance objectives providing up-to-date insights and dashboards to support sales management.
  • People Leadership: Lead and develop four direct reports (Quality & Risk Marketing Propositions Data & Reporting). Build organizational capabilities foster talent development and ensure robust succession planning within the segment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage and influence a complex network of internal and external stakeholders including executive committees.
  • Change Leadership: Lead transformation initiatives and foster a culture of innovation agility and continuous improvement.
  • Risk & Compliance: Manage risks and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Diversity Equity & Inclusion: Champion diversity equity and inclusion within the team and across the segment.
  • Geographical Scope: The role has a national remit with responsibility for segment management across the Netherlands and alignment with the Global Private Banking organisation.

Your Profile

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Private Banking & Wealth Management.
  • Strong expertise in digital transformation data analytics and pricing strategy.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder networks and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
  • Excellent people management and organizational development skills.
  • Experience in leading large-scale transformation and change programs.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
