We are currently recruiting a Registered Dietitian for a leading nursing home in Dublin Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct dietetic assessments and develop care plans for nursing home residents referred for dietetic review.
Triage all referrals and ensure residents are assessed within an appropriate clinical timeframe.
Provide nutritional guidance and support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their patients.
Support nursing homes in delivering high-quality nutritional care including providing online or on-site staff training.
Liaise with acute hospital dietitians to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and HCPs.
Develop educational materials and resources to support healthcare professionals.
Participate in projects as part of the wider clinical and HCP teams to help drive innovative clinical solutions for residents.
Engage in continuous professional development.
Prepare project KPIs and reports for the Director of Clinical Services or their delegate.
Requirements
Hold a recognised degree in Dietetics or Human Nutrition
CORU registration (or eligibility for registration)
Experience working in a clinical community or nursing home setting
Strong knowledge of nutritional assessment care planning and clinical interventions
Ability to triage referrals and prioritise caseloads effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with residents families and healthcare professionals
Ability to deliver training and support to staff on nutrition-related topics
A complete drivers license is optional.
