Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery has an immediate need for a Fellow to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about a position in a collegial faith-based environment. The research fellowship is dedicated to developing expertise in congenital pediatric and adult cardiothoracic surgery with a goal to expand his or her research experience and further his or her education to pursue clinical training in the United States. The individual will work with faculty surgeons to design studies assist with data collection and analyze outcomes. The overall goal is to work closely with a staff cardiothoracic surgeon improving his or her skills as a clinical/translational investigator. The individual will participate in opportunities for improved clinical research outcomes through data handling statistical analysis and trial coordination and manuscript preparation. The individual will also learn about new therapies under investigation report results of treatment and when feasible present work at national meetings in abstract as well as manuscript form.
