As part of our Manufacturing team youll help build the world-class state-of-the-art smart vehicles were known our plants around the world were constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. In this position...

You will apply engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.

What youll do...

• Apply engineering principles & analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.
• Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool 6 panel etc.
• Manage and direct statistical process control activities.
• Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis.
• Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently.
• Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including the Quality Dept Production and Suppliers.
• Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; experience with initiating containment determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and manage joining techniques materials and technologies
• Apply knowledge of joining technology equipment controllers and weld gun design and evaluation techniques.
• Execute and verify joining processes and procedures.
• Implement the joining certification strategy.
• Understand joining schedule development.
• Implement joining control plans and requirements.

Youll have...

• Bachelors Degree in Welding or Mechanical engineer or 2 years of Welding and Joining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in Microsoft Office products

Even better you may have...

• Advanced Degree in related Engineering Field
• Previous automotive weld engineering and quality analysis experience.
• Six Sigma Green/Black belt certified.
• Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal team building and communication skills
