Job Summary
The Shipping Coordinator I - 2nd Shift assists with the Divisions daily shipping tasks including creating shipment records and record keeping.
This position will serve our Water Heater Division located in Litchfield Park AZ.
Responsibilities
- Records and logs audits for accuracy distributes release after pickup and file Finished Goods Bill of Lading.
- Creates distributes confirms receipt and file on record export papers.
- Creates audits for accuracy and distributes MSO (Miscellaneous Shipping Order) for all materials functions including Finished Goods and Raw Materials.
- Notifies carriers of freight pickups as necessary.
- Creates bills of lading for direct shipments for other Division locations as needed.
- Directs communication with third-party warehouse including notification of pickups and confirmation of receipts.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of shipments to Rheem satellite plants and distribution centers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Material handling systems and/or transportation.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and Finished Goods Management System.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prioritize and deal with numerous interruptions.
HOW TO STAND OUT
- 2 years of experience in a distribution warehouse manufacturing or similar environment.
Intermediate Excel
Equivalent combination of education experience and skills may supplement above minimum job requirements.
