Responsibilities
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly professional manner
Effectively and efficiently provide updates regarding customer parts status
Read and interpret the parts catalog when researching or discussing parts
Answer phone calls provide price quotes and assist customers with parts inquiries
Review body shop estimates to verify accuracy of parts and pricing
Deliver high-level service to both internal and external customers
Pull and fill orders from stock; maintain weekly bin checks to ensure inventory accuracy
Notify the Parts Manager of out-of-stock items requiring immediate attention
Source out-of-stock parts from outside vendors and submit emergency orders when necessary
Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed to service repair orders
Process payments from retail customers or secure credit authorization
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Auto parts sales experience preferred)
Desire to improve and excel in a fast-paced dynamic work environment
Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
Ability to read and interpret safety maintenance and technical documents
Ability to calculate figures including discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
