Are you a professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast developing business We are hiring aManager Business Development Management (Nordics) to become part of the European Management team with accountability for the entire Measurement Solutions portfolio.

You will play a key role in leading by influencing and inspiring a diverse team focused on business development in the Nordics organization driving strategic growth and value across the business unit with full scope of instrumentation portfolio. The primary purpose of the position is to lead and manage the activities of the team develop and optimize the execution of the business unit related growth programs. As a senior leader you will influence the overall direction and priorities of Emerson in the region fostering collaboration and delivering strong results in a fast paced complex environment.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Managing and coaching the Business Development Managers across the Nordic organization

Organizing team activities to ensure effective support

Guiding people development and nurturing a positive team climate

Overseeing smooth daily operations within the assigned team

Handling performance processes including development planning and reviews

Coordinating closely with the local Director Sales Managers and commercial teams

Developing product marketing initiatives with the marketing colleagues

Supporting additional tasks that contribute to overall business needs (including reporting)

You demonstrate strong analytical judgment reviewing monthly product results against targets advising on necessary actions and spotting opportunities with clarity and accuracy.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • University degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent experience

  • Significant experience in business development sales account management or product management with a strong track record of leading commercial teams

  • Good understanding of industrial automation environment especially Oil & Gas / Energy industry

  • Proficiency in English and preferably at least one Nordic language

  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%)
