About the role: The Finance Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for preparing maintaining and monitoring annual operating budgets preparation & reconciliation of year-end working papers and annual regulatory reporting maintaining capital lien and various other revenue generating programs & applications and other duties as assigned such as policy & procedure reviewsspecial projects initiatives operational assistance and backup role to the Finance Manager.This is a permanent full-time position.
Salary Range: Range 7: $78332- $93112

- Ability to be senior member of and at times lead a Finance department
Education & experience required:
- Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce and completion of a recognized professional accounting designation;
- Minimum five years experience in budgeting accounting cycle and reporting;
- Demonstrated project management experience;
- Strong ability to self-direct and work effectively in a team environment;
- Strong technical computer skills including the ability to operate accounting software;
- Previous experience in municipal government an asset.
